Healing the Land
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land .
II Chronicles 7:14.
There is a process of restoration that is about to sweep our families, our communities, our churches, and prayerfully our nation. Yes, many prophets have expressed the judgment that has, is, and will soon hit our nation (even the world). However, I want you to see that, as we focus ourselves in being a people of prayer, there is a wave of healing and restoration that will take place.
We have submitted the necessity of being His People who are Called by His Name. In this Kingdom Insight, I would like to submit the importance of Humility. God is looking for a people who would be Humble.
We come from a people who talk a big talk. I am sure that you have been around those types of people; they talk about all of the Great things that are taking place in their lives. They talk about all of the Wonderful things that are about to take place. But when you really look at these people, they are in the same place 3-5 years later. In most cases, this is because they are void of humility.
You may be asking, What is humility? I am glad you asked...LOL. Well, in this passage, humility is defined as placing oneself under submission. It is also defined as bringing oneself to the discipline and control of a superior. God wants us to take ourselves to the place where we individually and collectively submit to His authority.
I Peter 5:6 records, Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. God is looking for a people who will usher in a new era. He is seeking a people who will be used by Him to release a fresh anointing that will release the healing and deliverance necessary to bring this nation back to the standard of being One Nation, Under God. These are the people of Humility. They are not punks if you will. They are people who are strong in their LORD. They are the people who are willing to submit their strength over to Him in order to execute His will in the earth.
Beloved of God, I encourage you to Humble yourself. The LORD is waiting to raise you up in that Day. He is waiting to exalt you into the place of His promise. Even in the midst of Economic turmoil, Educational decline, Religious Heresy, and Moral drop off, The LORD is seeking to raise you up in order to properly Re-present Him before a generation that has forgotten about His love, His power, and His word.
I challenge you to represent Him in this season. Set aside your cares, Remove yourself from your agenda, and be released from your worries. Take up your cross and follow Him. If you take up your cross and follow Him ...the sufferings of this present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory which shall be revealed in us Romans 8:18.....
Remember, the Higher You Go, the Lighter you are, and the less pull that gravity has upon you. Go Higher in Him.
